1. What is order volume?

The order volume is the amount of lots (forex) or contracts (CFDs) you would like to trade.

2. What is the minimum trade size I can place?

The minimum trade size (volume) you are able to place on these accounts are:
Micro: 0.01 lots
Classic: 0.1 lots

3. What leverage should I select?

You can choose a leverage ranging between 1:1 to 1:500. You are able to change the leverage yourself on your account in MyAlpari.

4. What are the trading hours?

You can trade forex from 22:00 Sunday UK time (0:00 Monday EET) and until 22:00 Friday UK time (0:00 Saturday EET).

5. How do I access the History Center?

Once you have logged in to your account on your MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform, please navigate to “Tools” in your menu bar.

Then please select “History Center” and select the currency pair and timeframe you wish to download the data for.

After that, please choose download. Once the requested data has been successfully downloaded, please right-click on your chart and select “refresh”.

The data will be reflected on your chart.

6. What does the difference between the server names indicate (eg Micro1 and Micro2)?

We split the servers in the past to maintain optimum server efficiency. However, this does not affect the functionality of your account.
