Andrey Vedikhin has played a leading role in the history of the Alpari companies, as Andrey originally co-founded the Alpari companies in 1998. His vision for the companies and entrepreneurial spirit have taken them from concept to a rapidly growing, highly competitive and profitable group of businesses in the global online Forex industry.
As Chief Executive Officer of Alpari (UK), Andrey is responsible for new business development. He is also in charge of strategic initiatives for the whole group of Alpari companies.
Andrey has developed his expertise across markets and in Forex trading from a young age onwards. In 1995, aged 20 and still studying, he immersed himself in the Russian financial markets. After graduating with distinction from the Finance and Economics unit of Kazan State University, Russia in 1997 he went on to complete a PhD in Economics and focused solely on Forex trading. He is registered with the FSA in the UK and holds several industry qualifications. Andrey co-authored “Forex: an inside view”, with fellow Alpari colleague Gleb Petrov, and wrote several other technological publications.

Daniel Skowronski took on the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Alpari (UK) in 2011, alongside his responsibilities as CEO of Alpari (US), a position he has held since 2010. Formerly the Managing Director at Currenex®, Daniel played a crucial role in the development of technological solutions for the company's retail offering. Daniel brings to the Alpari companies almost 20 years of experience within the Forex industry. He is responsible for driving the companies' ambitious global expansion plans and spearheading major new technology initiatives to further position the Alpari brand in the Forex markets worldwide.
Chief Operating Officer, Alpari (UK)
David Stuart joined Alpari (UK) in 2006, as Deputy Head of Trading. In 2007 he was promoted to Head of Trading, analysing risk and working with the management to create and monitor a suitable limit structure. As Chief Operating Officer he is solely responsible for Alpari (UK)'s day-to-day trading, client services and market research operations.
Born in 1970, David began his financial career at Nomura International, providing dealing and market making services on the fixed income government bond trading desk, where he became a fully regulated member of the FSA in 1992.
He moved into futures and options broking and trading with Deutsche Bank in the early 1990s, helping the bank become the number one broker in many of the major global markets. In 2001 David started up and ran a successful independent trading company which specialised in futures, stocks and Forex.
Global Head of Trading, Alpari (UK)
Paul J Kiff joined Alpari (UK) in 2006 as Senior Trader. Paul was, until 2009, entirely responsible for the development and operations of Alpari (UK)’s Introducing Broker Programme. Appointed Head of Trading in 2009, Paul has since been responsible for intraday and overnight position monitoring and managing the requirements for new products. Paul has also successfully established and is maintaining strong relationships with key business partners as well as managing an international team of financial professionals.
Paul began his career in the financial markets more than 25 years ago at commodity brokers ED & F Man (now MF Global). There he started trading Forex on their corporate desk before moving to the London International Financial Futures Exchange, trading various derivative products such as government bonds, FTSE and short-term interest rates (STIRs).
As an active member of trading pit committees, Paul served a term as a Floor Committee Member. During his time on the LIFFE trading floor he worked for Drexel Burnham Lambert and was Head of Pit Trading for Merrill Lynch, Dean Witter Reynolds and MF Global (Bunds). Paul traded independently as a Local providing liquidity to the market up until the close of the LIFFE floor and continued screen-based trading until he joined Alpari (UK).

Head of Client Services, Alpari (UK)
Rajiv Nanalal oversees Alpari (UK)'s award-winning Client Services team and ensures that Alpari (UK) maintains and builds on its reputation for excellence in client services. His team has been expanding significantly over the past few years to serve the company's fast-growing client base across the globe.
Rajiv joined the Alpari (UK) Client Services team as Deputy Head of Client Services in 2008 and was appointed Head of Client Services in 2011. Previously he held a senior position at Bank of New York Mellon, where he was responsible for managing client accounts and relationships on behalf of investment bank Merrill Lynch and asset manager BlackRock. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK as part of the company’s consulting arm. Rajiv worked closely with large corporate clients within the professional services sector.
Head of Human Resources, Alpari (UK)
Harriet joined Alpari (UK) in July 2009 as Head of Human Resources during a key period of the company’s expansion.
Harriet has worked in HR for more than 12 years, specialising in the development of HR functions within organisations experiencing rapid growth. Harriet is therefore a key member of the Alpari (UK) team as the company continues to grow and brings on board many more staff across all departments.
Harriet has a wealth of experience not only from the financial services sector but also from time spent managing HR departments in manufacturing and online training companies.
Previously Harriet worked for United Biscuits, Toshiba, Thomson NETg, ING Wholesale and VTB Capital Bank.
At Alpari (UK) Harriet is responsible for developing and implementing best-practice HR policies that will enable the company to attract, retain, motivate and reward our staff.
Harriet holds qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is also a graduate of Sociology from Kingston University.
Global Head of Finance, Alpari (UK)
Diya joined Alpari (UK) at the end of 2008 and was promoted to Head of Finance in January 2009.
She is a qualified accountant and, after graduating from the University of Portsmouth in 2002, trained with an accountancy firm in London's West End, working with a wide range of clients across a variety of different industry sectors.
Soon after being admitted as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2006, she joined the audit and assurance department at Mazars, one of the largest accountancy firms in the UK, specialising in financial services, in particular the company’s larger insurance industry clients.
Since joining Alpari (UK) Diya has taken on responsibility for day-to-day oversight of the Finance department, reporting directly to the regulators and helping coordinate Alpari (UK)’s global expansion plans.
Global Head of IT, Alpari (UK)
Ray Bramwell was appointed Head of Technology for Alpari (UK) in 2008. With over a decade of commercial IT management experience in both the public and private sectors, Ray plays a crucial role in the delivery of Alpari (UK) online trading services.
Ray started his career at the Medicines Control Agency in 1997 where he led the IT Services department before moving into Research & Development as the UNIX Manager.
In 2000 he joined Moneyextra (part of the Bank of Ireland) where he ran the IT Infrastructure department and built scalable resilient solutions using both proprietary and open source solutions. AWD Group Plc acquired Moneyextra in 2005 and Ray took on the role of Online Infrastructure Manager during which time he focused on system integration, data centre management and network management.
Since joining Alpari (UK), Ray has designed resilient scalable solutions to support the company’s rapid growth and ensure improved service delivery. With his diverse technical and managerial skill set Ray is responsible for the entire IT infrastructure spanning Alpari (UK)’s three London data centres and head office. Ray and his team of talented IT professionals work around the clock to support the trading platform in order to provide a smooth user experience.
Head of UK Retail Sales, Alpari (UK)
Brian Myers joined Alpari (UK) in September 2010 as Head of UK Retail Sales. As a driving force behind Alpari (UK)’s growth story, Brian has been instrumental in shaping our experienced, multilingual UK sales team as well as being committed in helping the company to become the leading global Forex broker.
Brian has been in financial sales for over eight years. During his career he has gained a vast amount of experience in serving retail and professional clients across the Forex, UK equities, indices and commodities sectors. Immediately prior to joining Alpari (UK), he spent two years at FXCM and three years in the City of London advising retail clients on trading strategies. Brian worked as a Stockbroker and Derivatives Trader at a well-known brokerage in the City.
He is a holder of CISI Derivatives and Securities qualifications and the Investment Management Certificate. Brian completed a degree in Economics at the University of Manchester.
