Telephone password is a password we ask when you contact us with any account queries. Telephone password can consist of a word or number or combination of both. Please note that we will never ask you for your master password that you use to login into your account. We recommend that you never reveal your master or telephone password to anyone.
Yes, you can. If you need to amend any information on the application form, please feel free to do so. You will need to print out the application form, make any necessary corrections, put initials next to the corrections, sign and send us a copy via email or fax.
It depends on how quickly you can provide us with the required supporting documents. On average the process takes a couple of days. Once the documents have been submitted, we should contact you within 48 hours. If you do not get any reply within three working days, please send an email to newaccount@alpari.co.uk to check if we have received your documents.
A certified copy is a copy of the original document, which must contain the following information:
• Notary Public, lawyer or bank manager’s official stamp
• Full name of person who certifies the document
• Signature of person who certifies the document
• Business address of person who certifies the document
• The date the document has been certified
• The document must contain the words “certified as a true copy”
We cannot accept any document that does not contain all of the above information. Please note if we cannot independently verify the certification this may result in a delay in your application.
We are not able to accept any documents that do not contain or confirm your full name and current residential address. It must also be dated within the last three months, and must have been sent to your current residential address via the post as we are not able to accept internet statements.
We can only accept the following documents as proof of address:
• Bank statement
• Credit card statement
• Utility bill (gas/water/electric/landline telephone)

Yes, in most cases we can accept a machine readable passport without certification.
Yes, you can. To apply online please go to https://my.alpari.co.uk/en/openliveaccount/. As an alternative, you can complete an offline joint account application form http://static.alpari.co.uk/docs/appform_joint.pdf. There is a maximum of two people per application.
As a regulated firm we have procedures in place to identify our clients and we take a risk-based approach to this. Therefore it is sometimes necessary to ask clients to have their identity documents certified before they are sent to us. One purpose of this is to prevent impersonation fraud being committed against our clients.
The list of countries for which certified documents are NOT required can be seen below: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Channel Islands, China (People’s Republic of China), Cyprus (Republic of Cyprus), Czech Republic, Denmark (including Faroe Islands), Estonia, Denmark (including Faroe Islands), Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Italy, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UAE (United Arab Emirates) and UK.
As we grow, we are constantly looking into the regulations of other countries so that we can accept uncertified copies from other countries.
Please note that if you can provide a machine readable passport, then you may not have to certify it even if your country is not listed above.
