BaFin, the German financial regulator, has imposed a ban on naked (uncovered) short selling in the shares of 10 banks and insurers. This affects four of the following German CFD instruments: Allianz SE, Deutsche Bank AG, Deutsche Postbank AG, Muenchener Rueckversicherungs AG. Short selling in these CFDs has been suspended on MetaTrader until further notice.
