I already have a MetaTrader account. How do I start trading CFDs?

CFDs are available on a Classic account as well as on our QTrader and L2 Dealer platforms. If you have a Micro account and want to trade CFDs you need to complete our additional account request form to open a Classic account. Once it has been opened, you will be able to see CFDs instruments in your Market Watch window. If you have a Classic account and would like to trade CFDs, then you must complete the CFD Opt-in questionnaire to enable the CFD trading on your account (if you have not completed the questionnaire, you will be able to see the instruments but not trade: "Trade is disabled" message will appear).

What are the risks of trading CFDs?

Like FX, CFD is a leveraged product. This is one of its main benefits: you can profit from a market without paying the full value of the position. However, this exposure can result in losses that exceed your initial investment. To minimise the risks you should understand the market you are trading in and always monitor your open positions and use stop orders.

Risk warning: Forex, spread bets and CFDs are leveraged products. They may not be suitable for you as they carry a high degree of risk to your capital and you can lose more than your initial investment. You should ensure you understand all of the risks.
